Soul Box Project Virtual Folding Event

  • Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery 1632 U Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 United States (map)

Tackling difficult life challenges and issues through the lens that everyone harbors the innate ability to heal is at the heart of our mission. The toll of gun fire on families, the community and our nation has been devastating. When I heard about the @Soul Box project, I was struck by how much it aligned with our firm belief in the power of art and how it can bring healing and build community. By making a Soul Box, we honor the person whose life has been lost, help heal our own pain from gunfire's impact and we can be part of this nationwide community that is bringing light and hope for healing. We hope you will join us in our commitment to make 500 Soul Boxes to be displayed as part of the Fall event on the Mall.
