Emily Carton was first Arnold Kramer's student and then his wife and has known his work for 46 years. Anya Kramer and Noah Kramer grew up with his photographs.  Their lives were surrounded by his image making.

Nancy Gillette knew Arnie Kramer first as a colleague, then as a friend and treasured member of a small photo collective that shared ideas around image making and offered mutual support and fellowship.  Arnie was a true visionary and mentor and helped her understand the difference between looking and seeing.
