Heads or Tales

My work “Heads or Tales” in this exhibition embodies altered perceptions of reality, where the mirrored surfaces reflect and warp reflections and each can be seen as a presentation as an alternate realities. Taking the tiles of the show - Silver Linings - the silvered concave glass center element flips the reflected image upside down, and the reflective surfaces distorts every image, including the viewer as they look into the bowl.
Heads or Tales poses a narrative that questions the very notion of reality and how easily it can be upended.
